Dr. Errol Cort represents the constituents of St. John’s Rural East and serves as Minister of Finance and the Economy. His ministerial portfolio includes Industry, Commerce, Customs, Investment, Economic Planning and Development, and Financial Services Regulation, Property Valuation and Tax Compliance.
Dr. Cort is a trained economist and also an Attorney-at-law with vast experience and an impressive record of public service. He served with distinction as Attorney General of Antigua and Barbuda from 1999 to 2001 and was responsible for spearheading electoral reform in Antigua & Barbuda.
He is a family man, conscientious, and with a reputation for being hard working. He has pledged to spare no time and effort in restoring good governance to Antigua & Barbuda.
