  • Continue the electronic modernization of the Immigration Management Control System to further enhance the security of our borders, particularly at all air and seaports of entry

New Fibre Optic Technology

In December, 2006, a new fibre optic cable was landed in Antigua; this state of the art system is providing ten gigabits of capacity and is capable of meeting all of the Nation's broadband and fibre capacity until the year 2030.

The UPP will partner with ICT providers and suppliers to increase the computer and Internet penetration rates so that by the year 2012, every home in Antigua will be equipped with a personal computer (PC) and high-speed broadband Internet.
